The recent completion of the section 201 review of washing machines showed President Trump’s willingness to apply tariffs on consumer goods. When determining which home appliances may be next we’ve considered: existing tariffs; rising imports and; change of country mix in supplies. All five products reviewed have tariffs of 35% applicable under certain conditions.
