EAEU Wheels Out Its First Case Against China

China 3053 Cons. Discr. - Autos 1251 Russia 134 Tariffs 1870

The Eurasian Economic Union – the Russia-centric equivalent to the European Union – has launched an antidumping investigation of Chinese aluminum wheel exports. The case is unusual in being the first the EAEU has launched against China since its inception in 2015. The case is probably too small to start a broader trade spat.
