DSV Ready for New NAFTA ROOs With New Facilities, Surging Mexican Growth

Corp - Forwarders 347 Mexico 929 Mode - Seaborne 1846 U.S. 5404 USMCA 462

Freight forwarder DSV has consolidated its U.S.-Mexico operations into two new facilities, and is combining its air, sea and land offerings. That would suggest it is confident that new NAFTA rules of origin will promote more cross-border trade. While its overall U.S. seaborne imports have fallen recently, its Mexico-to-U.S. business has done well. Shipments climbed 40% on a year earlier in the 12 months to February 28, adjusting for the UTi acquisition though in part due to a weak first quarter of 2017.
