The Mexican government has detailed its retaliatory duties against America’s section 232 tariffs on steel and aluminum. In common with packages from Canada, the EU, China and others this includes metals as well as more politically-driven consumer goods. U.S. exports of the 50 metals and 21 consumer goods lines to Mexico were worth an aggregate $4.5 billion in the 12 months to April 30. Consumer products accounted for 64% of the total.
