The CEO of furniture maker LaZBoy, Kurt Darrow, has indicated U.S. metals duties and associated retaliation have meant there is no certainty whether “raw material increases have topped out”. So far the company’s volumes are not suffering with a 56% rise in U.S. seaborne imports in the three months to May 31 on a year earlier.
