Ford Motor has cancelled plans to export the Focus Active SUV from China to the U.S. from 2019 due to new duties being applied by the administration of President Donald Trump. Not only would the vehicle be subject to 25% duties under the section 301 review of Chinese IP practices it also faces a further 25% if the section 232 review of the automotive industry is completed.
