Trade negotiations between the U.S. (Ambassador Lighthizer) and EU (Commissioner Malmstrom) continue on 9/25 in an attempt to move forward on commitments made by President Trump and President Juncker to increase trade between the two. While they’ll focus on technical issues progress is being made on merchandise trade with EU imports of U.S. soybeans up 130% on a year earlier in the past 12 weeks, overtaking Brazil as a supplier.
