Vancouver’s port authority has awarded an expansion contract to ACS which will increase capacity to 1.5 million TEUs from 0.9 million TEUs. That followed a 5.7% year over year rise in containerized volumes in the 12 months to Nov. 30, and critically includes debottlenecking investments to tackle emerging congestion issues.
