Ceva’s Sales Slow, But CMA-CGM Cooperation Flies

Freight forwarder Ceva Logistics has provided preliminary 2018 results that imply revenue growth of just 0.6% year over year in 4Q. That’s the slowest since 3Q 2016 and continues a pattern seen from UPS and CH Robinson. Profitability is expected to be unchanged for 4Q at the EBITDA line compared to a year earlier. The company may have released early due to container-line CMA-CGM’s offer to buy shares as part of the two firms’ cooperation agreement.
