China’s Ministry of Commerce will review duties applied to U.S. exports of distillers grains – a byproduct of biofuel production used for animal feed – that were applied in 2016. When combined with reports that the U.S. may be willing to compromise in ongoing trade negotiations on state subsidies and enforcement this is an encouraging sign that talks may reach a successful conclusion.
