Panjiva Research took part in a closed-door webinar on May 29 to discuss the future for China-U.S. supply chains following the trade war and COVID-19. We’re likely to be in the third phase of development of supply chains caused by COVID-19. Phases 1 and 2 were the initial supply chain disruptions in China followed by a global demand downturn. The third is the staggered reopening of economies which can feature continuing supply chain disruptions due to uneven timings of factory openings.
