The U.S. House of Representatives has passed the “Uygher Forced Labor Prevention Act” by 406 votes to three. The Act goes well beyond existing Trump administration restrictions on imports from the Xinjiang province of China. It requires firms to provide clear evidence that imports from the region have not been produced using forced labor.
