Indian rice exporters are reportedly looking to negotiate their contacts with U.S. and other buyers due to rising shipping costs. Global exports of rice by Indian suppliers surged 39.3% higher year over year in the three months to July 31 despite a slump in shipments to Iran linked to sanctions.
