Aerospace component maker Aeroedge will use Japanese government subsidies to repatriate part of its titanium aluminide manufacturing process to inhouse operations in Japan instead of using a U.S. supplier. That may draw a WTO complaint from the U.S. and further increase inter-government competition in subsidizing the reshoring of manufacturing.
