The Chinese government has imposed sanctions against Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon’s defense operations after the U.S. State Department approved arms sales worth $1.8 billion to Taiwan. That came against the backdrop of total approved sales to Taiwan of $4.98 billion in 2020 so far and $10.7 billion in 2019.
