Lakeland Industries, a maker of medical garments including personal protective equipment (PPE) reported a 30.9% rise in FQ4’21 (to Jan. 31) revenues which CEO Charles Roberson stated was the result of “the resiliency of our operations, our global supply chain”. The firm’s U.S. seaborne import activity reached 14.0% growth compared to a year earlier in calendar Q1’21, with a rotation away from China and into Vietnam in terms of sourcing having been completed.
