Maersk’s autos link may help Suzuki as Indian auto sector recovery struggles

Maersk has launched a dedicated rail service to join automakers in northern India with the port of Pipavav. That comes as Maersk continues to roll out its integrated logistics offering. Pipavav’s share of Indian automotive exports fell to just 2.0% of the total in the 12 months to Jan. 31 after activity slumped 82.6% lower year over year.
