The U.K. and Australia are pursuing a free trade deal with talks currently ongoing. As with most other free trade agreements it is agriculture that is proving controversial, particularly with regards to Australian exports of meat to the U.K. Total Australian meat exports fell by 21.7% year over year in the first four months of 2021 potentially hindered by ongoing disputes with China.
