The EU and U.S. have signed an agreement to suspend bilateral tariffs applied as part of a dispute over aerospace subsidies for five years. The two will instead tackle “non-market practices of third parties that may harm their respective large civil aircraft industries”, likely to be directed at China’s development of the Comac C919.
