Imports of refrigerated shipping containers into three Chinese ports have been halted “due to the COVID-19 pandemic impact” according to Hapag-Lloyd. That follows the closure of Dalian port to refrigerated imports earlier in the year. The firm has stated “all additional costs, risks and liabilities will be on the cargo owner’s account”.
